Susan Cole is the Associate Director of Settlement Housing Fund, an organization that she joined in 1974. An affordable housing expert who holds both a masters degree in social work and a real estate broker’s license, her specialties are affirmative marketing, tenant selection, and leadership training. Ms. Cole is involved with management, oversight of project development, construction and the overall operation of projects. She is also responsible for tenant selection at all Settlement Housing Fund projects as well as many privately owned projects, including “80/20” buildings. She has trained home interviewers and social service staff at numerous sites, and she directed the leadership training program for the New York City Housing Authority’s Authority Transfer Program.
Susan Cole sits on the boards of Community Board #1 in Manhattan, Project Find, Venture House and the Isaac H. Tuttle Find.
